Refuge Recovery

Refuge Recovery is currently meeting online. To join a Zoom meeting, access and search for Refuge Recovery or Live Stream Central and a new Zoom link will be posted 15 minutes prior to the start of each meeting.

We are a group of people using the practices of mindfulness and meditation to help us in our recovery from addictions–both substance and behavioral–of all kinds. Refuge Recovery members, 12-steppers working on the 11th Step, and anyone interested in using insight meditation as a recovery tool are all welcome. In addition to silent or guided meditation, we also do a shared group reading. In 2019 we are reading One Breath at a Time: Buddhism and the Twelve Steps by Kevin Griffin. Previously we finished reading and studying A Path with Heart by Jack Kornfield and Refuge Recovery by Noah Levine.

We are affiliated with We encourage you to check in there for on-line groups and readings.

There is no charge; though traditionally we offer a donation to cover costs. There is no need to register.
