Earth Care meeting

Dharma Zephyr’s earth care group is a small group organized by DZ members to explore ways to work for the health of the planet and for a sustainable future. We are especially interested in working to avert climate change. We take as our perspective the Buddhist ideals of lovingkindness to all beings and the Boddhisattva vow. WE currently are working on right speech in relation to climate change; climate education in schools; training with the Citizens Climate Lobby; and partnering with other local environmental organizations on clean energy issues. This summer, we will begin leading “mountain meadow meditations” in the beautiful mountains surrounding our home in northern Nevada
