Moving into Stillness: An Emphasis on Concentration
We live in a busy and hectic culture. Moving into stillness can be of great benefit to us. This Buddhism-based daylong retreat will include the traditional alternating of walking and sitting meditation with instruction, with an emphasis on cultivating concentration.
We will begin the day with some gentle Yoga poses to help the body prepare for sitting, and Qi Gong movements to assist the mind in settling and calming the nervous system. All levels of meditators are welcome.
