Moving Into Stillness

We live in a busy and hectic culture. For us there can be great benefit to moving into stillness. This daylong retreat will include the traditional alternating of walking and sitting meditations with instruction and an emphasis on taking refuge in awareness. We’ll begin the day with some very gentle Yoga poses to help the body prepare for sitting and Qi Gong movement to assist the mind in settling and calming the nervous system. All levels of meditators are welcome. It is not necessary to have experience in Yoga/Qi Gong. The movements will be simple and for yoga practitioners this can be helpful to establish or deepen a meditation practice.
