Trying to help

There is so much noise, so much talk of disagreement and strife. But if you pay attention, you can see so many people working to make things better. A few in big, splashy ways, but legions in small, quiet ways. So many people, sending a cheerful note, planting a bee-friendly plant, sewing masks, picking up trash, starting a book club, donating money. So many of us are trying to help, at least a little, and I am grateful for that.
