Divisiveness is gnawing at the roots of American life. Yet we need not surrender to it. Buddha-Dhamma points to important things we all share, cutting through the fabrications of race, class, and other tools of division. Mindful Dhamma practice offers alternatives, giving us a choice in each situation and in every challenge.
Santikaro will lead explorations into the “inner divisiveness” that bubbles up in all of us and draws us into outer divisiveness. He will teach the wonderful tools for understanding and addressing the roots of division within each of us that Buddha-Dhamma offers. We will re-acquaint ourselves with “Right communication,” the teachings that guide us in expressing our insights with kindness and respect.
The retreat is suitable for beginning and experienced meditators. Santikaro prefers that you attend Saturday if you wish to attend Sunday.
