“Increasing Resiliency, Decreasing Reactivity”
With Heather Sundberg

Developing the ability to be fully embodied, open-hearted in the face of
difficulty, and connected with awareness of mind in all activities greatly increases our capacity to decrease reactivity and increase resiliency. A mind-heart which is flexible and at ease in the midst of the stressful conditions of our lives is a tremendous gift to ourselves and others.

Enjoy a day of quiet sitting and walking meditation, which allow our body and mind to settle down and our hearts to open to an inner wisdom. In addition to insight meditation practice, Heather will offer teachings and guided meditations on the theme, as well as optional Qi Gong practice and
discussion about how to live these teachings in our daily lives. There will be a lunch break from 12-1 PM.

In this retreat, we will cultivate our Resiliency Tool Kit:
– Somatic practices to support our nervous systems
– Reflections on our deeper intentions and values
– Gratitude, Equanimity and Generosity practices
– Developing more of a sense of connection with ourselves and others
– Deepening our connection with Awareness itself as a Refuge
